WayUpStudy is a platform that lets you focus together in virtual study rooms. You can join the lobby for instant rooms or create your own room and study with a timer.

It's free for now. You can join the lobby for short sessions as a guest, or create a free account to open rooms and run longer sessions. We may offer paid plans for some features in the future.

After signing in, go to the Rooms page and click 'Create New Room'. You can set the room name, type (public or invite-only), and optional timer settings.

The lobby is a general space you can join on the spot. Rooms are focused study sessions with optional timers for a specific topic or duration.

No. You can just appear on the list and study without turning on camera or microphone; both are optional.

We take your security seriously. Your login and session data are stored encrypted and used only to provide the service. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Our first 50 members are founding members. When the paid tier opens, everything you use today stays free for founding members permanently — the shared session, the lobby, the timer, tasks, streaks and badges. The limit of that promise is just as clear: features added later are not covered. You can see whether you are a founding member on your profile page.
